Some Frequently Asked Questions about Dropshipping

Building your store could take a week or a couple of months. This depends on how much time you put into it and whether you’re following the proven steps in the system or figuring it out on your own.

Now we’ve covered a few of the most common mistakes new drop shippers make. I want to answer some questions you may have.

Therefore, before you look for Shopify dropshipping websites for sale, let’s know the Frequently Asked Questions about (FAQs) dropshipping.

What Is The Required Time & Effort Need For A Dropshipping Store?

I’ve been creating dropshipping websites alike as Shopify dropshipping websites for years. I could do it myself in about a week to get to the point where I could start contacting suppliers. So it took about a week for me to set up the store.

Members of my coaching program have completed it in as little as two weeks, as much as a month, and as much as three months. It all comes down to how much time you want to devote to it.

I will say that if you choose to work with me in my coaching program, we have a 22-video course that teaches you exactly how to do this quickly. It uses screen-share videos to walk you through the process of creating your high-converting eCommerce store.

What Is The Amount I Can Make & What Is The Profit Margin Will Be?

It varies so much. I now own stores and have held stores in a variety of niches. I’ve worked with hundreds of suppliers and have in situations where a 15% profit margin is acceptable. I also have some suppliers with profit margins above 50%.

So, on average, I’d say my profit margin with drop shipping is around 25% – possibly a little higher. Remember, this is your net profit.

That is, if you sell a $1000 item after paying for the product from your dropship supplier, deducting your advertising costs, and subtracting your merchant account fee and shipping costs, you can expect to make about $250 profit on a $1000 sale.

Is Dropshipping A-Authentic Business Model?

The brief answer is “absolutely.” I mentioned earlier that I’d owned drop shipping businesses for several years. I began importing around ten years ago.

After that, a few years later, I moved on to drop shipping. To give you an idea of my success and business size, my stores alone have grossed over $8 million. Dropshipping has hugely beneficial to many of my coaching students and me.

I recently surveyed as we are upgrading our program. And many of my members stated that they are making over $100,000 per month from their drop ship stores.

The Bottom Line

For the reason that, yes, this is a viable business model. We’ve already covered that in previous sections, so I believe it comes down to a few personality traits to determine whether or not it will work for you. Finding profitable niches is also critical for success.

This depends on the quantity of time you put into it. And it’s whether you’re following the proven steps in the Drop Ship Lifestyle system or figuring it out on your own.
